Each of my nutritional therapy plans contains Essential Elements - one Whole-Person consultation plus a 30 minute support call when your receive your nutrition and lifestyle plan. Depending on which plan you purchase, you will also receive one or more Ongoing consultations.
The breakdown below gives some information on what's included in the different types of consultation.
My consultations are one-to-one sessions where I learn about you and your life, so we can work together to get results. The Whole-Person consultation takes place when we first meet, and helps me understand you and your individual characteristics. The detailed information I find out from you in this initial meeting forms the basis of our work moving forward together.
We won’t just look at the symptoms or issues you are experiencing, but investigate the root causes of them. Find out more about how I work holistically.
Prior to your consultation, I ask you to complete and return a three day diet diary and health questionnaire to give me some background information so we can maximise our time together.
In the consultation we have an in-depth conversation that helps me develop your personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan. This includes:
rating your current symptoms to understand how they affect you
discussing your current eating and drinking habits
understanding your health history
exploring the different systems in your body and how they relate to your health
discussing the realities of your day-to-day life
Within a week of your consultation, you will receive your personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan. This includes tailored recipes and simple lifestyle changes. It often includes recommended nutritional supplements to address imbalances. Sometimes I suggest functional tests. If I feel you would benefit from support from a healthcare professional or practitioner in a different field, I may include a referral.
In a further 30 minute phone/FaceTime session, I will explain the evidence-based recommendations I have made, and answer any questions. It’s important for you to understand why you are making changes as this leaves you empowered to take them on. At this stage we’ll schedule an ongoing consultation so we can assess how things are progressing.
This is a shorter consultation to optimise your plan as you move forward. It’s our chance to revisit and adjust your original plan. Unlike the first consultation, which explores your health and well-being in depth, this session is led by you and your experience of living with the plan.
Typically your first ongoing consultation takes place between two and six weeks after your whole-person consultation, however this will depend on a number of factors which we will discuss when we first meet. The spacing of any further ongoing consultations are also dependant on your individual situation.
In each ongoing consultation we have a conversation about how you have been getting on to make sure your plan suits where you are at now. This includes:
reviewing and rating your symptoms to see what’s changed
talking about what was easy to change and what worked well
understanding any areas that you struggled with or that didn’t work well
discussing how the changes you made have impacted on your everyday life
This leads to a revised nutrition and lifestyle plan which might include tweaks to your recipes, lifestyle tips or supplements to get even better results.
Some people find it useful to have several ongoing consultations. Others need only one. Our human bodies are complex systems and our lifestyles are individual to us, so not everyone needs the same level of nutritional support.

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy for consultations, with the full cost of the appointment payable if it is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
Nutrition and lifestyle plans are only released once payment for the consultation or plan you have purchased is received in full.
Consultation plans, once purchased, are non-refundable.
