Well Pregnant - A Morning Retreat is a special event for women at any stage of pregnancy.

Combining experts in maternal health and wellbeing, the morning will include a variety of sessions to support mind, body and soul.

Well Pregnant is an opportunity to treat yourself to some serious self-care. You'll learn practical ways to support your health and wellbeing during pregnancy and beyond. From nutrition, to movement and mindset; you'll leave feeling calm, energised and armed with tools to keep you centred, nourished and resilient as you transition into motherhood.

FountLondon are hosting this special event, and we'll be ensconced under the arches for a calm and intimate morning.

We'll kick off with pregnancy yoga session taught by Helen Stewart-Cox from Stretch London to get everyone feeling flexible and relaxed. Please wear comfortable clothes to move in. Mats will be provided.

Next up will be a talk by nutritional therapist Jodie Abrahams who will share principles for staying well-nourished and feeling your best during pregnancy and the post-natal period. The talk will be followed by a practical demo on making nutrient-dense snacks with OAT Kitchen.

We'll end with a hypnobirthing practice with Anthonissa Moger, the Hypnobirthing Midwife who will share techniques to help you prepare for a calm and empowered birth.

You'll leave with an amazing goody bag with products tailored to your health and wellbeing. These will include gifts from Wild Nutrition, Rude Health, ProVen Probiotics and Ouli's Ointment.

After the event, you can enjoy delicious, nourishing snacks from OAT Kitchen's pop up stall.

Jodie Abrahams, Nutritional Therapist

Jodie is a nutritional therapist specialising in women's health. She believes that a positive relationship with food is central to good health and that eating well is about pleasure, not restriction. 

In her one-to-one nutrition consultations, Jodie's takes a personalised and holistic approach to nutrition, supporting clients to make positive, lasting changes. As well as working one-to-one with clients, she also gives regular talks and workshops on nutrition and lifestyle.

Jodie will be talking about nutrition principles to support a healthy pregnancy, and practical ideas for eating well. She'll also be discussing ways you can prepare for a resilient and balanced post-natal period.

Helen Stewart-Cox, Stretch London

Helen is Yoga Alliance UK 200hr certified Vinyasa Flow & pregnancy yoga trained.

For Helen, yoga is about strength, space and flexibility.  Her passion is weaving the ancient wisdom of Hatha yoga and modern anatomical science into playful, elegant, intelligently sequenced flows. The style of yoga Helen teaches is carefully aligned and feels beautiful. It encourages you to explore what it is like to be you on a deep, intuitive level.

Stretch is located on Ada Street, just off Broadway Market, with a second location on Columbia Road. Stretch is the place to find expert tuition and guidance. Their emphasis is on creating a community focused, safe place to practice.

Anthonissa Moger, The Hypnobirthing Midwife

Anthonissa loves nothing more than equipping Mums and Dads with the practical tools and confidence to have truly empowering birth experiences.

Anthonissa works part time on the birth center and labour ward at St Thomas' hospital where she has supported hundreds of women to birth. She spends the other half of her week teaching group and private hypnobirthing classes. And somewhere inbetween she is a Mum to one!

In Anthonissa's hypnobirthing session you will learn:

- the importance and power of the mind body connection

- two essential hypnobirthing breathing teachniques for a calmer birth

- one powerful visualisation for reducing sensations in the body

OAT Kitchen

OAT Kitchen specialises in fresh, nutritious, plant-based cooking. They believe that food is essential to maintain health and happiness, which is why their motto EAT WELL KEEP WELL is the driving principle behind everything they do. 

OAT Kitchen will be showing you how to make treaty nutritious snacks to keep you feeling full and energised. They'll also be hosting a pop up stall after the event so you can fuel up with good stuff.
