Skin Health
A clinical, inside-out approach to skin health combining personalised nutrition, advanced skincare, and lifestyle refinement to support long-term skin function and balance.
I’m Jodie Abrahams, a Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in skin health, hormonal health and metabolic function. I work with women seeking support for acne, rosacea, sensitive or reactive skin, eczema, pigmentation and perimenopausal skin changes through personalised, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
Consultations are available online and in London.
A WHOLE-PERSON APPROACH TO SKIN HEALTH
Skin health is influenced by a complex interaction between hormones, digestion, blood sugar balance, inflammation, stress and nutrient status.
Rather than focusing solely on topical treatments, my approach considers the internal factors that may be contributing to skin symptoms, supporting long-term improvements in skin function and resilience.
SKIN CONCERNS I SUPPORT
Skin concerns I work with include:
Hormonal acne
Adult acne
Rosacea
Eczema
Psoriasis
Sensitive or reactive skin
Dry or dehydrated skin
Hyperpigmentation and melasma
Perimenopausal and menopausal skin changes
Loss of skin firmness and vitality
Skin barrier dysfunction
MY APPROACH
My work combines evidence-based nutritional therapy with a personalised understanding of skin physiology.
We explore potential internal drivers including:
Hormonal fluctuations
Blood sugar balance and insulin response
Gut health and digestion
Inflammation and immune response
Nutrient status and absorption
Stress and nervous system regulation
This allows us to move beyond symptom management and focus on supporting skin health at a deeper level.
